Godfrey Hall encompass some 14,000 square feet of well equipped Graphic Communications laboratories devoted to education, training, and industry service. Built in 1898, Godfrey Hall is one of the oldest buildings on campus. The 1987 renovation resulted in a learning environment with high ceilings and tall windows with excellent light and a view of the main entrance to campus.
The facility is divided into five sections: the the beginning lab, the advanced prep area, the electronic prepress center, the flexographic laboratory and the advanced pressroom. Students and Industry alike also have access to the Printing & Converting Research Center (PrintCon), a facility established by the printing and converitng industries for the students of Clemson University. PrintCon is also utilized by its founders for the purpose of research and training in the pursuit of a better understanding of the printing and converting processes. It is located just eight miles from the main campus of Clemson University in Pendleton, SC.
