| Electronic Prepress Center The electronic prepress center is fully equipped with the latest systems for processing work from design to final film in single, multi color and process color forms. Several scanner technologies are available for student use including: drum, flatbed and film scanners. Students can also obtain images via digital cameras and CD. Proofing technologies available include dye sublimation and thermal wax printer for color and two laser printers for black and white. All students are required to learn both the electronic and conventional approaches to prepress for all printing processes. Additionally students utilize the high-tech equipment for electronic presentation and dissemination. Two projects student complete in digital form include an animated digital presentation and a web page with multiple links and graphics. |
